THEY SCREWED UP MY DENTURES!! Home from my 1st visit for fitting

SO...It is the next day after the extractions. Day of extraction the surgeon could not get the lowers into my mouth. He said they had an odd ridge that should not have been there, so I went home with only the uppers in place.

Today I went to my dentist's office that made the dentures and they were supposed to fit them to my gums or adjust them. My regular dentist was off so I saw her co_worker who was very nice, but really was not hearing me, or understanding what I was trying to tell her.

This dentist ground off the ridge and more to get the bottoms into my mouth but she did not get them to fit properly. She said if she ground off anymore they would break!! But... my mouth won't close!!

....I see my regular dentist on Thursday of this coming week,((Tuesday if my regular dentist has an opening)) I am trying to hold it mentally together until I see her, as she promised me that she would make sure I get a good pair of dentures. I'm going to try to stay sane til I see her and find out what she is going to do.

At my first fitting of my dentures. I had my teeth pulled yesterday and when they tried to put the bottoms in they did not fit. Today this dentist ground them down to help them fit but they are still not fitting. I mean they are in there but I can not shut my mouth!

I see my normal dentist on Thursday and I hope that she honors her promise to make me an excellent pair of dentures.

SO MUCH PAIN! DENTURES? 11 TEETH PULLED 10HRS LATER

SO after getting my 11 front teeth pulled, I napped for quite a few hours and woke up in massive pain! I fell asleep, and I should have taken some pain meds before I went to sleep but forgot.

I woke up shivering in pain!

I took my top dentures out to rinse the old blood and blood clots out which hurt like hell, but PUTTINGTHEM BACK IN WAS TRAGIC!

It hurt like crazy to put them suckers back in!

I used the Anbesol Mouth Rinse in hopes of it helping the pain a bit. Even though it hurt, it is so important to keep the surgical site clean to prevent infection.

I really didn't sleep last night... I'm up now getting ready to go to the dentist that made the dentures. I'm worried about the dentist forcing them OUT of my mouth! The suction is like WOW! And it's pretty rough taking them out.

The bottoms do not fit. The tops are just made to too tall AND TOO WIDE! Hoping they fix them so I can talk!

JUST had my 11 TEETH PULLED! Im so numb I am panicking !

SO... I just had the 11 teeth pulled and got the bad news that my dentures do not fit! I can not talk at all due to the fact that I am so numb! DENTURES DID NOT FIT!

I am so numb that it feels like I am choking on my cheeks! I am fighting a panic attack from not being able to swallow. It was pretty scary!

THE PAIN IS REAL! Had 11 Teeth Pulled about 10hrs ago! THE PAIN IS REAL!

SO, I got my teeth pulled at around 12 pm and after a long day with my parents, I finally got to sleep and rest. I woke up about 6 hours later and the pain was tremendous! THE PAIN IS REAL!

I had just used the bathroom and took my top plate out and rinsed the clots out and putting them back in was earth shattering! I was crying, the dog ran... He left me when I needed him! HA!

Even though it hurts like hell to put the dentures back in, it's a good idea to rinse your mouth a few times a day to get rid of that old blood and clots to cut your chances of infection. It just hurts like CRAZY!

I am using Anbesol Mouth Wash *Non-Alcohol Version* to clean the site and rinse out the dried blood and clots. I am hoping the numbing ingredients will help it hurt less to replace the dentures. IT STILL HURT SO BAD I CRIED LIKE A BABY!

Worst Needles Ever! At Dentist to get 11 teeth PULLED! PAINFUL!

YES I BROUGHT MY STUFFED PUPPY DOG I HAVE HAD SINE I WAS 17! He has come into most of my major surgeries throughout my life!

Just a quickie in the Oral Surgeons chair right after he gave me about 12 needles. I cried! The needles you get for the front teeth are extremely painful! You can be put to sleep for this all, but I chose not to be put to sleep. I have a serious fear of it!

I have had a lot of surgeries, and my brain thinks Major surgery ok.. you lived! But, with my luck being put out for teeth being pulled and I would never wake up!

Either way, you can be put out for this! It sucked! PLUS the next few days those needle sites are going to hurt like crazy!

My dad is driving me to my oral surgeon to have the last of my 11 front teeth pulled. I'm so stressed out! I will be so happy when this is over!

Yes, I did bring my stuffed puppy! I have had him since I was 17 and he has come into the operating room with my for many major surgeries. (( They bag him once I am out cold from the anesthesia))

I JUST HAD MY TEETH PULLED! 11 DOWN 0 TO GO! NUMB

I had the teeth pulled and I am waiting for my dad to come back and get me... he drove over to LOWES for molding hahahahahaha! The bad news was the dentures did not fit! The lower dentures have a ridge that should not be there, and the tops are so long that they are touching my Uvula. The oral surgeon did not want to grind them all out since he did not make them. I totally understand that he did not want to be liable for my dentures. There is a lot of grinding that needs to be done!

My mouth is SO numb I feel like I can not swallow and I am panicking inside.

I did a live Facebook to hopefully see my Mom but she was not online.

So happy that part is over!

Scared

It's the night before I get the last 11 front teeth removed and start my life with dentures. Right now I am not happy with the way the top dentures look and I have an appt in 2 weeks to see the doctor that made them. I'm hoping she stays true to her word that she promised I will be happy with the look.
My front teeth are so much bigger than the dentures and longer! The dentures teeth are so tiny! I had the teeth in my mouth when they took the impressions so that they WOULD look like my teeth!
We shall see...

In this section I am working on the stem and leaves... Once you have a bit of a base, you can pick up your piece and twist it around and mold it out. Its really easy to do! The nice thing is, if you make a mistake you can cut it off or peal it off and start over. I like that about this.

Try it out! This pen works really well, and you can look on my page to see the plastic filaments that I have bought. You have to buy the kind that is sealed or it will become brittle.

After being told your dying, you sometimes stop living for yourself... ...

In 2014 I was in the hospital for 15 days and had a abscess the size of my liver from going Septic. I stopped wearing makeup and doing much for myself because I guess I was just waiting to die!
This past year, I realized I had to live for myself, even if it is not for a long time... I started wearing makeup again and doing stuff just for me!
At this point, I have been very lucky in knowing when I am going septic before it gets out of hand. As soon as I start having a temp I get on antibiotics. OR as soon as I start tasting sepsis I get on my antibiotics! I have a running prescription with my doctor for antibiotics so I get on them as soon as I sense something is up. I have a bottle at home so its always on hand!
Right now I am normally getting sepsis signs every 3 months.
