I had some trouble setting this router up at first as it only comes with a mini quick start manual. Also, I made a few nube mistakes! 1st I was trying to connect my WIFI phone to the router and of course, it needed the wifi to work! Then I forgot to plug the laptop into the router and thus I had trouble signing into the Setup Wizard.  Once I reset the router and started over AND plugged the laptop into the router, things went much smoother.

You can see ALL my mistakes in this video and then watch video number 2 when I had a Eureka Moment and realized I needed to plug the laptop into the router.

IMPORTANT TIPS:

1. This is a Dual band WiFi router without Modem integrated, you still need to use your existing modem from the service provider.

2. Before login to the router for setup, make sure your Smartphone is already CONNECTED to the router's WiFi network successfully so you can open the login website properly.

3. If you are using CABLE Service, please REBOOT the CABLE MODEM after finished router setup, so the cable modem can assign IP address to the router properly.



Setup Instruction:

STEP 1: Use your Smartphone to search the Router’s WiFi network named “Kasda XXXX KW6516” and connect to it.

STEP 2: Open a browser on your Smartphone and login to the setup page.

STEP 3: Follow the Quick Setup guide to finish all the settings.

STEP 4: Reboot both your cable modem and Kasda router.
